I am considering a Charlies Pro slide and don't see where to purchase one. Thanks for your help.

Charlie and his brother have been long-time venders at Resogat, selling Charlie's capos and slides. Likely one of them will be there. So, if you could drop by one day......

Easiest way, just order from Charlie's web site. Fast shipping, good communication

Just a PSA: I reached out and got a reply from Beard Guitars. Gabby answered my questions about the new "shorty" they will have available in the next couple of months. One can reserve now.

She said, No, you do not have to put any money down right now. I believe they are running at $125. So long as there is no wear or damage to the bar upon returning, you can either exchange or get a full refund if it does not work for you."

I see the thread has morphed into adding a comment regarding the Beard "shorty."

This bar will be a fairly dramatic difference compared to Charlie's bar. Charlie's is one of the beefiest out there among the "grooved" bars. I like the depth of the portion where the index finger goes, it feels very  secure with good control - and if it were the only bar I owned that would be just fine, but on fast moves after using something like a Tipton ir a Scheerhorn, it feels a little bit like weight  training for my bar hand. Or sort of a miniature  version of swinging a bat with a batting "donut" attached while in the on deck circle waiting for your turn to hit.

I agree with Mark about the weight of the Charlie's bar and his comment about the batting donuts. My go to bar is a Scheerhorn but I like to warm up on occasion with the Charlie's because, like the batters in baseball, I just feel quicker and more accurate when I go back to the Scheerhorn.
