For sale in classifieds is a 2012 National Tricone Style 1 square neck, incl HSC.
Guitar has been upgraded with National Hot Rod cones and has a Schaller strap lock. Reso was tuned up by Byrl Murdock in 2024. He installed a new ebony capped maple bridge saddle, with string spacing 2 1/4" (same as standard spider). This is a tad narrower than National setup, but it is a simple matter to replace bridge saddle if you are so inclined. He also raised action on the bridge saddle, which puts strings up near bridge cover, and improved volume and bass response.
Condition is good to very good. Noted flaws include some scratches where a Lace pickup was once installed, some finishing wear on mahogany neck, and a pin sized ding. Also some minor finish smudging and small scratches. See photos.
New nickel-bronze 1656 strings installed. Currently tuned Open D.

What he didn't mention is that it will also greatly improve your playing. They're so cool you'll pick it up much more often, whenever you can. That's what happened to me when I got one.
