Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas released today by my long time musical partners, Michelle & Jason Hannan. A gentle and fun treatment.
I'm playing a G6 8 string (darned infrequent) which allowed for some mild "jazzy" stuff. A chord extension and single note backup more easily reached on "the 8".
Like most Xmas projects, the outside temps were probably in the mid-90's when this was tracked.
Today was the first time I'd heard the mix.
They did give me the last word.

After meeting you and Jason Hannon recently I bet he's as much fun in the studio as on stage. The performance style bluegrass jam I went to in Fredrick, Maryland with you guys was one of the best I've been previliged to play in. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of us together!
Our RV friends who came with us that night in Fredrick recognized Jason as an entertainer at the area wineries and distilleries and mentioned that his wife Michelle was a great singer.

Jason is quite the entrepreneur. In addition to all you mentioned he also has the "record" label "Waiting For Lester" which focuses on regional artists. It's been a busy year for the label and I was delighted to be participate in a bunch of projects in several genres, dobro & steel.
