Many thanks, from those of us who play in D (or E). Lots to read and digest but I've found if I end up with only a couple of new licks from a big stack of learning material, it still pays off nicely.

Thank you. I am glad you can use it. Glad to share it. I learn quite a bit doing it. I have been getting a lot out of Phrygian Major and Phrygian Minor. They can add a unique twist to the blues.

What's nice about this is they are applicable to both roundneck fretted/bottleneck style and squareneck lap style since the guitars are tuned the same in Open D.
