Recently deceased Scratchmo made a fine pair of fingerpicks that had little "hooks" on the inside that kept the picks firmly in place without being at all uncomfortable. Very high quality and I think his shop is still producing them.

Another trick to keep picks on is to use rosin for a fiddle bow. Rub some of that on your fingers. Very sticky stuff.

I have three Dobro branded fingerpicks, I guess they're from the '30s , they are the only ones I've seen and I love them, I'm looking for one more actually. I've never had one fly off.

I found a thread and just purchased 4 Acai's, I play with 3 picks and an extra for crossbow shots ;o) also order some resin so we will see... Thanks guys!

Been using fingerpicks since the early seventies. The extra-long bands on Acri's brass fingerpicks lhold my fingers more securely, comfortably, and snugly than others. They don't come off nearly as often.

I thought acri was gone!

I stopped using the split ProPiks for that very reason and have played on the ProPik non-split version for the last 10 years. They are just as comfortable and no tagging and launching woes.

I noticed Troy on YouTube has either tape or maybe wide rubber bands of some sort on his fingers under the picks.

Try a little spit (saliva) on your fingers on a beer drinking night. Works.

When I learned to play the Japanese Koto, my teacher taught me to lick my fingers before I put my picks on, it kinda sticks the picks to your fingers a little bit. I am DONE with propicks!!! For 20 years I used them pushing them back on during songs and shooting them at the front row when I got into it. I found some brass ACAIs at a store in Colorado that had bought out another music store. I bought 4 to have an extra (I play with 3 picks on my right hand) and shoudda bought them all. They had another 4 left but when I called back in a month they were gone. I have yet to loose an ACAI pick, they are truly the BEST. I wish someone would copy the design and manufacture them!!!
