I'm looking to glue or put in in a neck pickup to get an electric guitar tone out of my dobro.
I am NOT looking for a "dobro" sound, so I DON'T need fancy piezos or the Nashville series. I just need a pickup to make my dobro sound like an electric when plugged in.

There are two ways to go about this and we need to know what you're leaning, the first choice is quick and convenient, the second option is a much bigger project:
1. A pickup that is affixed to the top of the guitar with two sided tape or putty and can be removed if desired - check out the Justin Johnson pickup in the video, $230.
2. Cut out a hole in the top of the guitar for permanent installation including a quarter inch jack drilled out in the tailpiece area. In this case, the sky is the limit and the choices are practically endless. Beard for example installs Jason Lollar Silver foil neck pickups on some of the Jerry Douglas Signature models that are close reproductions of vintage Japanese Teisco pickups that were popularized by Ry Cooder decades ago.

I'm mainly looking for the kind where I can simply glue it on. And I don't need any specialty pickups that mimic the dobro sound. If anything I want it to sound more like a generic electric guitar than a dobro.
That's why I sent you the video with Justin Johnson's pickup - did you watch it? It makes your resonator sound like an electric guitar.
So now we know you don't want to do a big modification by cutting a hole in the top of the guitar for a pickup.
Maybe I confused you by mentioning the Lollar reproduction foil pickup that Jerry Douglas has on his guitar. It has zero to do with trying to mimic a dobro. I could have mentioned a hundred other electric neck position pickups where a hole needs to cut out of the top to mount it.
Most of the "stick on" pickups that are available to be placed on a dobro between the coverplate and fretboard are in fact trying to mimic a dobro - and most of them don't do a very good job.
The Justin Johnson pickup isn't trying to mimic a dobro - he states it clearly that it will make your resonator sound like an electric guitar. And for a stick on setup I like that way the cable and jack is also mounted by tape that attaches to the top of the guitar.
For myself, if I want to sound electric - I just go electric and play a lap steel. But if I were trying to kill two birds with one stone on an acoustic resonator that can also function as an electric instrument, I'd go for the Johnson pickup.
