Hi everyone, my first post here. I've been playing dobro for about a year and a half. I have a new National Sheerhorn Maple that I absolutely love. Is it normal for the top string at the 7th fret to not ring through like the other strings?

Is the “top” string the 1 or 6?
Top refers to the 1st string. Higher in the register.
