I hadn't seen this interview in many years until Jason Skinner uploaded it to YouTube a while back. Classic Josh - he was one of a kind. And a great job of course by Jerry.
Jerry is a fine writer and journalist along with being the master of the resophonic guitar. He was in line for an English scholarship to the University of Maryland in high school in Warren, Ohio but decided to skip college and become a pro musician instead.
One time I complimented him on a piece he wrote on his no longer forum he had on his website and ever the wit, he told me "I decided to become a Road Scholar instead of a Rhodes Scholar."
