LEKATO Mini Electric Guitar Amp. Just wondering how this little fella would sound on a resophonic, seems to have good feedback for regular guitars.

I know next to nothing about these Lekato amps, and in googling, I see there are a number of models - and they're pretty cheap.

I can't imagine they would sound any good with a resophonic guitar. Why? Electric guitar amps have a narrow frequency response, and acoustic guitars including resos have a much wider frequency response. It's why acoustic amps  typically have a tweeter and a woofer, similar to speakers on a home stereo setup.

Then there's the pickup - the only one many of us find acceptable is the Fishman Nashville, and if you're running it through the Fishman JD Aura pedal or some other device to enhance the plugged in sound  - we're talking some serious money, and then running the whole chain into some el cheapo mini electric guitar amp strikes me as being a waste of money.

Really, how much cheaper can they be than a Fishman Loudbox Mini?

edit: are you talking about one of those "plug-in/"headphone" amps?!

I'll bet that sounds tons worse than an unamplified instrument
