Anybody play the Rogue square neck ? it looks like it could be got for $180.00 or so. I don't expect a lot for that price but wondering what people think. I'm coming to the resonator after a pretty serious fracture to my left index finger and just don't seem to be getting the dexerity back to play mandoli nand guitar. I don't want to give-up on those yet though and have been considering the Rogue lap steel and the square neck as something to learn while i try to get finger to bend again,

I have the Rogue square neck reso and think it is well worth the money. Check @ Musicians Friend for a B stock or scratch and dent sale. You should be able to get one for under $150.
The rogue lap steels are okay for $80. I had two but decided I wanted a longer scale length and went with the SX lap steels.

I have two sx lap steel and a fretless bass. All three are amazing for the price.
I will buy another SX guitar for sure.

Had a Rogue squareneck for a while when I couldn't seem to get a Regal that was built worth a crap. The Rogue is cheap parts put together surprisingly well. Not too bad for a starter.

thanks for the response guys, I like the blem idea--cheaper is better. I'm just looking for something cheap but still worth the money. You spend $150 its real dough.
