Can someone give me a recommendation for a capo for me Goldtone squareneck? Pros and cons of different brands?

Here's my favorite capo. charliescapo.com/
I've tried them all. This is the easiest to use design (put on with one hand) and has the best tone in my opinion. I've tested it next to all of the other brands (many of which I have used happily in the past) and this one came out on top every time.

Charliescapo.com. The best I have used. Goes on easy, very minimal impact on tone.

Best capo for Goldtone squareneck....or any other resonator. Charlies capo without a doubt. Pricey but worth every penny. You'll love it

Slideman recommends you check out the Tombro capo (on E Bay). The builder is Tom Engleman who is also a Dobro player and founder of Lehigh Valley (Pa) Dobro and Resophonic club. Tom understands design and tone. They are hand built one by one in his own shop. In U.S. and Canada Tom already has over 60 satisfied customer/ users. The quality is good and the PRICE IS RIGHT. Check out the E-Bay listing for Tombro dobro capo.

Before I bought a capo I checked the forum to see what was what. I ended up buying Charlie's and have NO regrets!!! It works GREAT!!!!

I don't own a Charlie's capo, but at ResoSummit I participated in Gre Booth's "O-K-Po Corral Shootout". I found that Charlie's Capo was incredibly close in tone, and similar in ease of use, as my Bradley capo. Since IMHO no other capo in the past has worked as well as the Bradley for me, that I considered the two a virtual tie is no faint praise. Charlie makes a great capo. So does Elmer Bradley. You won't go wrong with either.

My vote also goes to Charlie's Capo. Easy on and off with one hand.
