Hi everyone! For playing Bob Wills and Hank Williams songs, what is everyones' choice, 6 strings or 8? Which brand and what amp? How about tuning? Thanks, Kevin

	1earthtwang says: 11/17/2011 1:52:34 PM i bought a nut extender and put it on my cheap electric guitar and it don't sound too bad. Good enough to start with. When I get the C6 thing figured out I will get something else.
	jazzrambler says: 6/12/2012 10:04:47 AM I use a 6 string lap steel in either C6 or E11 through an old Princeton Reverb. I will occasionally add a Boss DD-3 and an Ernie Ball Volume Pedal. For those of you converting electric guitars, the longer scale makes slants and behind the bar bends a LOT harder.
