DG, sold through Elderly. Smaller bodied solid maple. Upgraded to a Quarterman cone and set up by Frank Harlow. I really like this guitar!
1979 Model 60 Dobro that I've never liked. Bought my 80s dream, a Jones, a few years back but it had too many structural problems so I sent it back (Elderly was great to deal with). I'll buy a Sheerhorn when I win the lottery... Hoping to build my own later this year.

Play dobro with the Backporch Hounds based in Southwest Ohio. Lived in Nashville in the 80s and was one of a million banjo players. Learned Dobro because they were pretty rare at the time. Gene Wooten gave me free lessons in the back room at the Station Inn for awhile. Traveled with a regional gospel bluegrass group for a couple years then moved back to Ohio. Gave up dobro for about 22 years. When I put it up for sale on Craig's List I was asked to play dobro in two bands.... got it back out and am still blowing off the dust but having a blast. Finally bought a solid wood open well DG and am loving it!
