I started with guitar when I was 15. Got a slide steel at 20. Picked up a saxophone at age of 25, sold it 2 years later. Picked up a banjo when I was about 45. Now it's time for resonator guitar and pedal steel. I played electric guitar in many bands; blues, rythm&blues, old rock'n roll, some country. Semi-professional level, I did it mostly for fun and not as an income. In all years I loved bluegrass music but never got the chance to play it. Until I just decided some years ago that now ... it's time for bluegrass.
