I've been a country lead guitar player for 40 years. I recently started messin with the dobro . I've always loved the sound of the dobro but the electric guitar was my first love so I never really gave much thought to learning how to play one. I thought it was the same as slide guitar. Well it's not. It's quite a challenge and I'm loving this thing even more than I thought. I'm also gonna get back to the banjo and start checking out some of the local bluegrass scene. I'm still a guitar picker but I'm a musician first and foremost. I'm excited about this site and am looking forward to seeing it grow like the Banjo Hangout site.
