I Started Playing Guitar at the age of 10 in 1960. Started playing in Bluegrass bands about 1979 and started playing lap style resonator guitars about 1989. After about a year of not finding a dobro that I really liked, I began building my own. I was hooked and could not stop. At that time there was only a handful of builders. I don"t build a lot anymore (Due to a right hand wrist fusion) but still enjoy slowly building the instruments that I play and playing Bluegrass and Country.
