I gave up playing reso for many years or so. I traded off my early 70's model 60D for street rod parts. Around 2006 I purchase a cheapo Regal to pick on at jams, because there were usually more banjos than you can shake a stick at! I gave the Regal to my son and began playing a Richard Kirkland built guitar, Currently playing an Adam's large body, and my custom built walnut Griffis.
