A very good Luthier is working on my 1973 (serial # 0154) Biscuit Bridge Steel Round Neck Dobro. Although he does not specialize in resonators he is a retired engineer from Pratt Whitney that does all of my guitars. He informs me that my cone is 10 1/4 diam and not the normal 10 1/2 diam. I was wondering if he is measuring the wrong way or if in fact this was a special cone made while Mr. Quaterman ie “The Original Music Company”. If so can this cone be found anywhere today? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
