all pre 1980 country singers and including many bluegrass bands.Ricky Scaggs is among my favorite(he is excellant at both traditional country as well as bluegrass)

born in michigan in 1959,fell in love with country and bluegrass music at age of 1.always wanted to learn pedal steel guitar but dad said if he was paying for it it would be the accordian or nothing.At the time i chose nothing but now that i look back the accordian is a real cool instrument!Joined the military in 76 and traveled the world and retired in 97.Got a job with the navy working on nuclear subs since 98 and still diong it.
