Started acoustics later in life, at the tender age of 43, with an Ibanez guitar. This led rapidly to mountain dulcimer, upright bass, 5-string banjo, Dobro, & mandolin. Played piano since childhood, which gave me a good background for music. Banjo is my first love, followed by Dobro. I have played 5-string since 2004. Dobro came along in late 2005. Unfortunately I can only play one instrument at a time! I am hoping to learn more Dobro in the near future, as I am finally getting a good handle on banjo picking.
