The last year has been an experimentation in the use of many different brands of strings. I find this useful because I have five different resos with each one sounding unique because of the cones installed in them , among other factors. Recently, I installed a set of so called 'boutique' strings made by Curt Mangan out of Cortez Colorado (866-463-2878) on one of my resos which has a legend cone in it. This guitar came alive with sparkling highs, brilliant mids and punchy lows ! If you get the chance, when deciding to change srtings, give these a try. You will not be disappointed.
