First, I want to let you know that I've wrangled some deals with Hangout sponsors so Reso Hangout Players Union members can have access to some exclusive discounts. I'm still working on growing the list of discounts, but you can see the codes by visiting the Players Union page and clicking the link to view the discounts--or you can just go here.
Some of the discounts include $5 off an annual subscription to the Fretboard Journal or the Old-Time Herald, as well as discounts on learning videos and even other Reso Hangout merch.
Secondly: the Reso Hangout Players Union shirt design for 2011 is now finalized and on order with our printers. You can see it to the right. Ladies--we've got women's shirts for 2011 as well!
I realize some of you just recently joined the Players Union in 2010 when we started it up. If you "re-up" your membership right now, it will just add another full year to your current membership expiration date, and you'll get the shirt right now. Otherwise, if you want to wait until later in the year to renew, that's perfectly fine, too!
Thanks to everyone who has joined the Reso Hangout Players Union and helped to support the continued improvement of this site. We've got some great upgrades coming this year, and just yesterday went live with a beefed-up database server that should keep things moving fast. These kinds of things are made possible by folks who are willing to join the Players Union so they can give a little back to the site, and get a little something in return.
