While sitting in on the Thursday bluegrass jam at the Red Light Cafe in Atlanta, I realized that a bluegrass jam is a lot like a flash mob. You got a couple of folks tuning, a couple just shooting the breeze, a few are laying down some random licks to loosen up...and then three seconds later everyone is playing Cripple Creek in the same key and on tempo.
Then all of a sudden everybody stops and the order dissolves into chaos again.
