I have the pleasure of working with an old friend of mine who I have known for 20 years through the Nashville Song Writers Association International. He has written many songs in the Americana genre such as cowboy tunes, Civil War tunes, folk tunes etc. He plays an acoustic Taylor guitar which has a pickup on it. He has his own strumming style which can be a challenge for me but this week-end (4-24-2015) we will be performing together as a folk duo at a golf club. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out...

I will be using my 10 string Dobro on this performance along with his guitar and vocals...

Playing a 10 string Dobro is very challenging but with all those other strings it makes for some very interesting chord patterns and fast rolls...

I think the night went very well with the Dobro dialed in with the JD Aura pedal set the way I wanted it. Also the PA system was set up properly.
