I will be performing on June 12th with stage,radio,television and Nashville recording artist Nora Collins to debut her latest album "My Radio" . I can either go to the board through my Fishman JD Aura pedal or use a Shure SM-81 or Shure SM-57 mic. Her last two albums can be heard on U Tube (noracollins.com) and consist of original songs she wrote. I will use my Appy (#48) on this show. With the Lace Ultra Slim pick up, in concert with the Aura pedal, this will be my "B" plan. I have found that by dialing in the board and the Aura pedal, my reso sounds like it should with no feed back at all. Many people on this site complain that this combination makes the dobro sound like a lap steel. If you set it up right this problem will be eliminated. Since there are only the two of us, I will have my work cut out for me. She uses a capo a lot which presents an 'opportunity' for me because I play without one and and have the reso tuned in the standard G tuning.I will keep you posted on the results of this performnce. .

To clarify...I have two options to use... #1 using only a Shure SM-81 or #57 mic to the board with the proper adjustments as to bass, high and mids on the board OR using plan B which is the JD Aura pedal set at my specs and then into the board. Hope this helps you out there...

The show was a packed house and Nora's new album was debuted. I played through a Shure SM-57 mic to the board.

She now has two videos to go along with her album. One entitled "Harley" was just released. She is performing 17 times at Summerfest in Milwaukee between June 24th and July 6th...

With numerous television performances as well as stage and club events.i am very pleased to have done three shows with her so far this year.
