This is my moms birthday. But she passed away in 2001 . She was a violin player, that's where I probably got my musical heritage from. She always promoted me to perform with my guitar., at that time it was a 12 string Spanish guitar. But I was into lap dobro at the same time. This is here where I accelled and to this day am doing that in her memory. RIP. Mom....

Been playing Dobro since 1951..Stage,Radio, Television,Recording Studio Specialist...country,blues...folk,..rock. ..also pedal steel guitarist with 2 Sho-Bud heavily modified pedal steel guitars...one single neck (3X8)..one OPRY Steel ( 10X8)..I.always reply to e-mails...at tom165mph@yahoo.com. ...numerous recordings on private labels...since 1965 . 4 different dobros..1934,1982 2012..2014... Have not played pedal steel in over a year. Burned out after 55 years of playing it. Now concentrating on getting the best sound with my four resos...And how different cones react to different strings. Curly maple VS mahogany VS all others... This could take a lifetime !! Did Opry touring package shows in 1966-1967..
